Polyaspartic flake and epoxy garage floor coatings for Cibolo, Schertz, Converse and the communities around them. The slab is diamond-ground and repaired first, so the coating bonds instead of peeling — and most two-car garages are done in a single day.
01 — The short version
Garage floor coatings fail for one reason far more than any other: the concrete was not prepared. A floor that is only washed, or etched with acid from a hardware-store kit, gives the coating nothing to grip. Hot tires then pull it up in patches within a summer or two — the familiar "peeling epoxy" look.
A professional system starts with diamond grinding the slab to open the pores, repairing cracks and spalls, and only then applying a base coat, the decorative flake, and a clear topcoat. In a typical two-car garage that is usually a one-day job with a polyaspartic system, and you can walk on it the same evening.
02 — Finishes
These images illustrate finishes and the effect of preparation. They are not photographs of specific local projects.

Oil stains, hairline cracks and dusting concrete are ground, repaired and sealed under the coating — the prep is the job.
A poured, marbled look for shops, man caves and showrooms. More slippery than flake and less forgiving of dust.
03 — How it works
You call or send the garage size, the city and a couple of photos of the floor
An installer looks at the slab, checks moisture and existing coatings, and gives you a written estimate
On install day the floor is diamond-ground, vacuumed, and every crack and pit is filled
Base coat, full flake broadcast, scrape and vacuum, then a clear polyaspartic topcoat
Walk on it that evening; park on it once the installer gives the go-ahead, usually after about 24 hours
04 — What to ask any installer
“Do you grind the floor or acid-etch it? Is the topcoat polyaspartic or polyurethane? And what exactly does the warranty cover — peeling, or just fading?”

Drive through any subdivision in Cibolo or Converse with the garage doors open and you will see it: coatings lifting in two neat stripes where the tires sit. Almost always, that floor was coated from a kit without grinding, and a few Texas summers of hot tires were enough to pull it up.
The fix is not a better kit. It is preparation — diamond grinding to open the concrete, proper crack repair, and a professional multi-coat system with a topcoat built for heat and UV. That is the only kind of floor we talk about on this site.
Square footage matters, but condition matters more. A clean, newer slab is the simplest case. Oil-soaked concrete, wide cracks, spalling near the door, and especially an old coating or paint that has to be ground off all add time. That is why an honest estimate comes after someone has seen the floor, and why two garages of the same size can be priced quite differently.
When you call, it helps to have the garage size (1, 2 or 3 cars), the city, and a couple of daylight photos of the floor. That is enough to get the conversation started.

Questions
It depends on size and condition. Most two-car garages land in the low-to-mid thousands of dollars; old coatings, heavy oil contamination or major crack repair add cost. You get a written estimate after the floor has been seen.
A typical two-car garage with a polyaspartic system is usually done in one day. You can walk on it that evening and park after about 24 hours.
Epoxy builds thickness and bonds well but can yellow in sunlight and cures slowly. Polyaspartic cures fast, resists UV and hot tires, and is usually the better topcoat for Texas garages. Many systems use both.
Existing cracks are repaired and coated over so they do not show, but the clay soil around Cibolo keeps moving and new hairline cracks can appear over the years.
